Angela Curtis-Quintero received her law degree from Ventura College of
Law in 2002. Prior to starting her legal career in the Domestic Violence/Sexual
Assault Unit of the District Attorney’s Office from 2000-2001, Ms.
Quintero volunteered her time and expertise in the Family Law Self-Help
Center in Ventura. While in the District Attorney’s office, Ms.
Quintero gained valuable trial experience and evidentiary experience.
After leaving the District Attorney’s office, she transitioned into
private practice where she has owned and managed her own law firm for
15 years. Ninety-five percent (95%) of Ms. Quintero’s business has
been devoted to family law. In 2009, after being involved in some high
profiled celebrity divorce cases, Ms. Quintero was encouraged to branch
into entertainment law, wherein she worked on various television shows
and with many musicians and artists. From 2012 to 2016, Ms. Quintero became
Of-Counsel with the law firm Norman Dowler, LLP. In 2015, in addition
to maintaining the above careers, she became a Professor at Oxnard College,
has been Chairman of the Board for the Oxnard College Paralegal School
Advisory Committee since 2014 and was selected to be on the Hiring Committee
for Oxnard College Professors in the Paralegal program. Ms. Quintero attended
the University of Notre Dame to pursue a degree in Non-Profit Fund Development
in the Executive Management Program at the prestigious Mendoza School
of Business of Notre Dame University and became a Certified Grant Proposal Writer.
Ms. Quintero currently resides in Ventura County with her husband. She
volunteers her time and resources to The City Center Transitional Living
program and Tender Life Maternity Home, as well as various churches. Ms.
Quintero’s hobbies include traveling, cooking, Fit Buddha, tennis,
golf, cycling with her husband, hiking, painting, kayaking, attending
music events and spending time with family and friends.
